How to Take Pictures of Your Screen on a Laptop
When you have a Windows Laptop:



    .    Pressing PrtScn will take a screenshot of the whole screen.

     .   Open either Paint or Word, press Ctrl + V to insert your screenshot.


    .    Pressing Alt and PrtScn will only take a screenshot of the active window.

    .    Just use Ctrl + V to put it into your app.


    .    Click the Windows key, Shift and S all at the same time to launch the snipping toolbar.

    .    You can use a rectangular, freeform, window or full-screen shape when making a snip.

    .    After you take a screenshot, it is automatically placed on the clipboard. You can either paste it               into an app or check the "Screenshots" folder.


    .    If you want to automatically save a screenshot of your whole desktop, press Windows + PrtScn.

    .    You’ll find it located in: Pictures > Screenshots.







    .    Simultaneously press Command, Shift and 3.

    .    A screenshot of the page is automatically placed on your desktop.


    .    Press Command, Shift and 4 at the same time.

    .    Drag across the screen to choose what you want to capture.

    .    Your screenshot is automatically put onto your desktop.


    .    On your keyboard, press Command (⌘), Shift and 4 at once and release to tap the Spacebar.

    .    Choose the screen you wish to grab.


    .    Command (⌘) + Shift + 5 will either start screen recording or show advanced options.
